Part of me wishes that Silverbolt had had a couple of episodes as a Predacon, and then shaken off his programming. Also, is it just me or is his story very similar to Jetfire/Skyfire's story from G1? Starts as a wrong'un, realizes that the team he's on is the baddies, switches allegiances. I'm sure I'm not the first one to make that connection.
I can tell that I was more comfortable drawing the Beast Wars characters by this time. They seem more well balanced than my earlier attempts at their designs.
